Fancy A Family Holiday In Ireland Take One Of The Many Ferries To Ireland And Avoid Airport Stress.

The summer may be over but that doesnt mean you cant plan ahead and book a family holiday in Ireland for 2013. For many the thoughts of travelling overseas can seem like more hassle than its worth. Trying to keep an eye on everyone while navigating through an airport maze, dealing with popping ears, and making sure everyone stays together when waiting tirelessly for luggage to arrive is not the ideal way to begin a holiday. But what if there is an easy solution? By taking one of the many ferries to Ireland you can avoid airport stress and begin your holiday in style. Here are some of the main reasons travelling by ferry is better for your family holiday:

1 – Instead of trying to keep children entertained in a cramped airplane seat, why not let them enjoy an amusement arcade on one of the ferries to Ireland . Not only will this help release a lot of pent up energy (i.e. tire them out so you can relax for a while!) but playing games with your family is a great way to bond. There are usually games for all ages so have fun and let your competitive streak come out!

2 – Those with older children or teenagers have probably tried to pry some sort of electronic device out of their hands at some stage this year alone! Travelling on one of the ferries to Ireland means that you wont have to argue with your tech-savvy children about turning off their phones or putting their iPads on airplane mode. Your kids will love you even more when you tell them about the free Wi-Fi that is on-board most ships! Airplane food is not only unappetising and tasteless but also quite expensive. Although packing food for your journey is an option, its your holiday so you should make the most of it. Whether you would like a small bite to eat or a more substantial meal, ferries to Ireland have lots of restaurants and lounges to choose from. From soups and sandwiches to tasty traditional Irish meals there is something to suit all appetites.

3 – Shorter flights rarely include TVs or the option to watch movies. Ferries, on the other hand, often have TV lounges that you can sit and relax in while waiting to arrive at your holiday destination.

So travel by ferry for your 2013 family
